Here is the brief record display after executing a search in MicroLCS. Each item is listed one per line. Each item is a link to the full record display for that item. Note that visited records appear in slightly darker colored text. The checkbox to the left of each item allows you to "bookmark" items of interest as you search. To view your bookmarked items click the Bookmarks button. Unlike the search interfaces of most other library systems, MicroLCS always keeps basic search tools consistently available in the control panel at all times, no matter where you are in your work. This example shows listings by title and author. MicroLCS can be configured to display search results using any of the fields defined for the full bibliographic record.
